Califa Express, our relaxed deli and food bar in Vejer’s charming palm-filled Plaza de España, starts season with a new tasty menu. “We’re very excited to start this new season welcoming our clients with new dishes”, says the manager Claudio Ramírez.

Facade.

Califa Express reopens with new tasty proposals that includes some tapas from its mother restaurant, El Jardín del Califa such as the Ataif of Tuna, a light crêpe of fresh tuna with onions, feta and a touch of capers or the famous Pastela (chicken and almond mini pastela wrapped in fine ‘warka’ pastry served with a sauce).

New season starts with new tastes like the stuffed red pepper with spiced minced lamb and rice or the halloumi wrap with roasted red peppers, black olives and sauce of choice.

Menu features new dishes such as the chicken kebab served on a plate with a curry sauce and rice or the Mocharmola, a fan of steamed aubergine with a variety of spices (served cold).
