Califa Vejer launches a solidarity campaign to support victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria

According to this article, “rescue workers continue to comb through the rubble of collapsed buildings across Turkey and Syria in the wake of a devastating earthquake that struck the two countries on February 6”. More than 35,000 people have been confirmed dead in what is one the strongest earthquakes to hit the region in the past century.

That’s why Califa Vejer has launched a solidarity campaign to support victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Join the initiative of the restaurant El Jardín del Califa to support the victims. You can contribute by ordering our Harira Soup! All benefits will be donated to the World Central Kitchen, the non-profit organization of Spanish chef Jose Andres, dedicated to providing meals after natural disasters. “We express our solidarity with Turkey and Siria after the terrible disaster, by promoting this solidarity campaign”, says James Stuart, Califa’s manager.

“We sincerely ask clients to join us in this campaign to help Turkey and Syria earthquake victims”, says Regli Álvarez, Califa’s director.
