Hearty, healthy and super satisfying – discover our new seasonal dishes for Autumn/Winter at FEZ Vejer. Mr. Aschraf (our funky camel) and all team are ready to welcome you and your friends all day long… Because life is too short to take seriously!
Enjoy our monthly’s recommendations! Our November suggestion is the pumpkin and sweet potato soup with leeks, coconut milk and nutmeg.
One of the new plates is our deliciously Moroccan lentil soup made with seasonal vegetables and a touch of turmeric.
Other menu highlights include the pan fried seasonal vegetables prepared at the moment spiced with a touch of sumac, “it is a wild herb from the middle east that grows in the mountains, it is not cultivated, it has a reddish colour and taste like thyme”, explains James Stuart, Califa’s CEO. The menu also contains different vegan and vegetarian options. Guaranteed to light up your taste buds!
Another new dish is the chicken tagine with caramelised orange, fennel and star anise, “one of my favourite dishes that has been on the menu of the restaurant El Jardín del Califa for a long time and that we are now adding to the FEZ menu”.
In the dessert section, you can taste the Califa’s famous apple crumble, the Apple crumble ‘FEZ’ style with almonds and raisins served with or without cream.
Tea time
From now on, afternoons will be sweeter at FEZ, with the Café Royale. Relax in to the afternoon with 2 pieces of delicious pastry, a slice of carrot and caramel cake and a bowl of almonds and raisins and your choice of tea or coffee. All our yummy desserts are also available all day.

Breakfast every days
Not to be missed in FEZ are the breakfasts. Among the most popular are the Beirut, with merguez Hash with baked egg, Cucumber, tomato, Pitta bread, Laban cheese, Tahini, Orange juice, Coffee or tea; and Fez with tomato and feta cheese shakshuka, Moroccan bread (raif), Hummus, Tomato, Cucumber, Beldi olives, Orange juice, Coffee or tea.
For those looking for something lighter, the Moroccan breakfast is one of the best options. It consists of Pan Raif, “a kind of crepe and bread; it is eaten with honey or Amlou, a mixture of almond cream with honey and a touch of Argan oil”. A healthy option. Lovers of traditional flavours can choose more classic options such as the vejeriego breakfast with toast, tomato, cheese or Iberian ham, coffee or tea.
