The Califa celebrates International Jazz Day on April 27th

This Saturday, April 27th, we will enjoy a fantastic preamble of the International Jazz Vejer Festival, one of the major musical events of the year, sponsored by the Califa. It is a celebration of the International Jazz Day (officially on April 30th, but organized for Saturday, April 27th in Vejer by festival promoters Nacho Corral and Paco Muñoz). Today, we attended the presentation of this must-see jazz event at the Castle of Vejer.

During the press conference, our director, James Stuart, pointed out the importance of such initiatives “because, apart from creating a wonderful atmosphere in the town, they generate essential media coverage.”

Thus, on April 27th throughout the day, the public can enjoy various performances that will take place on different stages around the town.

At the Califa, there will be a double performance at the Tetería del Califa; on one hand, musicians Nono García and Tito Alcedo at 13:00, and on the other, the group Recalma Rhythm and Roots at 17:00.

Two must-see events this Saturday, April 27th. Admission is free until full capacity is reached. Are you going to miss it?

Complete your experience by staying at Plaza 18, a hotel where comfort and luxury come together to offer a unique stay in the center of Vejer.
