Relax on the Tetería’s luminous terrace with views across the forests of Montenmedio, the marshes of the Barbate river, and the distant Alcornocales Sierras. Serving excellent teas, coffees, and a variety of the famous Califa’s Moroccan pastries, the Tetería also serves up a range of cocktails on either the panoramic rooftop or the inside bar. The Teteria is an ideal venue for an aperitivo or a digestivo before dinner at the Califa.

The Tetería del Califa is adjacent to the Jardín del Califa restaurant. Spread over two floors with art exhibits including a permanent exhibition of photos taken between the 1960’s to current of travels through the Middle East & Morrocco along with a collection of Beddaoui glass, Amazigh jewellery from the Atlas, watercolours of Chefchaouen by Mustafa Hamano and photographs by Alexis de Vilar amongst other pieces of interest.

Exhibition about La Tetería del Califa

The permanent exhibition at the Tetería del Califa is a collection of family photographs taken between 1970 and 2016 covering Morocco and the Middle East. The pictures of 3 generations (father, sons and grandchildren) show snapshots of a family who have lived and travelled far from their native Scotland.
