At Califa, we are proud to have contributed our small part to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Pequeño Deseo Foundation, a charity gala held this week in Madrid that brought together numerous companies, artists and personalities united by one cause: to make the wishes of children with serious illnesses come true, supporting them emotionally and bringing smiles in difficult times.
During the event, a charity auction was held, with all proceeds going directly to the Foundation’s projects. Grupo Califa took part by donating a premium weekend getaway at Hotel Plaza 18 in Vejer, including a gastronomic experience at El Jardín del Califa, access to the Hammam del Califa and other thoughtful touches designed to offer wellbeing and relaxation in a truly unique setting.
The Pequeño Deseo Foundation was established in 2000 with the aim of making the wishes of children with serious or chronic illnesses come true as a means of emotional support and a complement to medical treatment. Among its activities are charity galas, auctions of unique experiences, and collaborations with companies and institutions to help more children see their dreams come true.
